SJA Carnival 2009

This is the first year we've been able to go to my old highschool's halloween carnival. Lindsey, of course, wouldn't take a nap so it took all the energy Chad and I had to maintain a (somewhat) peaceful event. Mommy did have a small nap otherwise I don't know that I would have enjoyed it so much.

With all the kids, tables, and goodies, what does Lindsey want to do? Well strut across the gymnasium stage- what else?

A little ghost boy joined her on the stage for awhile only to ask her name and attempt to give her a kiss on the cheek. His mom was mortified!

We pulled her away from the stage (and ghost boy) to jump in the spacewalk for awhile until a little girl bumped her and she dove into the plastic floor face first.

We promptly ended up on the stage again.

We did sneak a ride on a $185/hour choo choo train too. You would think you'd get more horse power out of something that expensive. She walked to the booths but all the teenagers in princess costumes were just too scary for her. All in all I think we'll be going back next year- Lindsey had a good time on that stage!
