Downtown on a Saturday

So usually Mommy goes downtown every day for work, but today downtown was fun for both Mommy and Lindsey. Its a beautiful day- windy and warm!
Lindsey loves stairs. I think she's standing on the state of North Carolina! (GEAUX TIGERS)

The observation deck was open!
I cannot tell you how long it has been since I've been up on the observation deck.
So we rode up two elevators to reach the 27th floor. The view was gorgeous. Lindsey ran around the deck (there's a cement railing) and peeked through the telescope.


Did I mention it was windy?


Mommy bought her a toy biting alligator - or crocodile or dinosaur as Lindsey called it.


I was on the way to take Lindsey to McDonalds when at the Government Street intersection, she shouted, let's go there to that big cup! Frosttop! When was the last time you went to Frosttop?
Two bags of fries, a burger, and a chocolate shake later, we were on our way home!
