We quickly remembered, however, why we don't like the beach...
hint: it's the sand.
Lindsey had never experienced the beach so she did enjoy it some. We showed her how to build a sand castle, which she could quickly destroy. She was not too excited about the water though. She didn't want to put her toes in it. She didn't even like it near her sand castle.
Needless to say, we did not stay at the actual beach very long. We were back in the pool in an hour or less.
