Yes, we're still documenting firsts!
Mom was on the roster at the Baton Rouge Tea Party July 4th event! She sang God Bless America in front of about 1000-3000 people. We had some of the best seats! We were at the top of the Louisiana State Capitol steps, in the shade! Mom and Dad were afraid I wouldn't understand why Mommy was walking away from us but I did. And when Mommy was done, I ran up to her and said 'Mommy do it again sing song!'
Afterward, we met up with PawPaw, Nana, Aunt Patsy, and MawMaw Lou and watched the fireworks from the 15th floor of the Chase building aka 'the castle' as I like to call it.
I will try to upload a video clip of the singing later on.
I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the fourth!
